Danny Garrett Day? Well it's ABOUT TIME! Now we just need a Guy Juke day (Gabeega Boys, anyone?), a Micael Priest day, a jfkln Day, a Sheauxnough Studios Day... I could go on. Better to be there the 24th though. Seeya!

I heard Austin is weird. How weird is it? I have high standards. Wondering if a trip on the 24th would be worth the $3.00 per gallon. Hope so.

If you have the chance please don't miss an oppertunity to vist the museum in person and spend some time viewing the art and talking with South Autin culture conservitor Henry Gonzales. The art represents the human experience and will bring back memories that have been lost to time by many people but will never be forgotten by others. This is the shrine to the culture that made Austin "Weird" before there ever was a need for a commercial slogan to try profit from it or describe it. Please help support and save our history.

I'm looking for an old friend named Ed Kliman - we were friends back in 1999, where we hung out at the club Austin Blues, which is now shut down. I used to live here and be a friend of Mr. Kliman's and now I live in Nashville, TN. I would like to talk to Ed, if indeed I have the right address. Please contact me at bonepony98@comcast.net

Hey Narum, thank you for the great party, Van was so cool, and what a lot of art, look forward to much more. Randy
From: Angel MurryE-Mail: agmurry46378.yahoo.comDate: 3/26/05, 1:22 AM
I remember Narum's work from the "good old days" in Houston. I say good because we had the love ins at Miller and the music scene around Allen's landing, but they were also some pretty dangerous times with the KKK and an "easy rider" far rightwing taking shots at us. Narum was one of the people on the front lines of the revolution as well as providing some great art we could decorate with cheap. I look forward to seeing those famous pieces and what he has done since.

I didn't make it to the Kerry Awn show - New Zealand is more than a commute to Austin! Back in about 1972 I went to one of Kerry's birthday parties (I think it was...) - many years and miles since then! Austin's posters of those days were a real treat - a shame I didn't snaffle a few from the telephone poles!

I'm delighted that the art of Austin's premiere poster artists is being archived and displayed for future generations!

I've lived in the Zilker neighborhood for 20 years, and the SAMOPC is a much-welcomed addition!

Looks like I get the honor of making the first entry.

I was a huge fan of the good old Armadillo WHQs and am so happy that you have made it available again through the great artworks.

Keep up the great shows and will be seeing you at the Roky Erickson party.
